Bath Oils & How to Use Them

Set your senses alight and jazz up bath time by introducing oils. Add a few drops to a bath (around 5ml) for the perfect soak, it’s really that simple.

TOP TIP: Pure essential oils shouldn’t be used in the bath. They are powerful little things and can irritate skin if not used correctly.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BATH OIL?

When oil is mixed with water, it has an ability to penetrate deep into skin tissue and help provide rejuvenation. Aside from this, the aromas that come with many bath oils such as our Basil Lime and Mandarin will help to cocoon senses in a flood of soothing and clean scents, helping to clear any mental fog as well as relieve tension.

TOP TIP: If you’re struggling to sleep at night, take a hot bath and pop in a few drops of Lavande Luxe Bath Oil – you’ll be snoozing in no time!

CAN YOU USE BATH OIL DIRECTLY ON SKIN?

In a word, yes! Bath oils make a great alternative to traditional moisturisers or body lotions. Before towelling off and whilst your skin is still damp, drop some oil onto your skin. A little goes a long way – you don’t want to be sliding everywhere!

TOP TIP: If you’re feeling anxious throughout the day, try applying a couple drops of bath oil to the back of your wrists and behind your ear to create your own mobile aromatherapy.

CAN YOU USE BATH OIL IN THE SHOWER

Absolutely. In fact, oil is perfect for that early morning pick-me-up. Lathering your skin with oil in your morning or evening routine will lift spirits and restore lacklustre skin.

TOP TIP: Ensure to decant the oil into the palms of your hand before applying to skin for easier application.
